The Halloween conundrum

This is a blog post that I recently happened onto.  I have some reservations putting this on my blog because I know many in my family love Halloween and look forward to it and spend time and money to celebrate it.  I used to feel the same way.  We had fun Halloween parties and pumpkin carving contests.  We decorated a little bit, not much really.  But Halloween was a fun fall activity in the family I grew up in and in my own family.  The past few years I have noticed a change in my excitement for Halloween.  I was in charge of the ward Halloween party a couple of years.  When I realized what we were celebrating in the church I was ashamed.  The decorations, costumes, and sounds during the trunk or treat were usually devilish in nature.  It may seem trivial to some.  I don't happen to agree.  So if you are a big Halloween fan and don't want to know, don't look at this video.
